The North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center (also called the North Las Vegas Detention Center) holds people who have been arrested or sentenced for committing crimes in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
A large facility with nearly a thousand beds, the North Las Vegas Jail also houses inmates from
- the Federal Bureau of Prisons,
- the Immigration and Naturalization Service,
- the United States Marshal Service, and
- Clark County Detention Center overflow.
Note that most people on a Nevada ICE hold are transferred to the Las Vegas Immigration Jail (also called the Henderson Detention Center) in Henderson, Nevada.

2. Can I call an inmate?
Persons in custody at the North Las Vegas Jail may not receive calls from you. However, inmates are allowed to place collect phone calls during the day. They can also use a prepaid calling card, which they may purchase from the jail commissary.

6. What are the bail out procedures for North Las Vegas CCC?
For charges in North Las Vegas Municipal Court, call the court at (702) 633-1130 for bail instructions. NLVMC takes bail on Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For charges in North Las Vegas Justice Court, call the court at (702) 455-7802 for bail instructions. NLVJC takes bail on Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
After hours, you can post bail directly with the North Las Vegas CCC.
7. How can inmates release property?
Persons in custody at the North Las Vegas CCC may choose to have the jail store their property until their release, or else they may sign a form to authorize the release of their property to you. However, inmates may not distribute their property to multiple people – inmates may only choose to release all their property at one time to one person.
To pick up property or vehicles that a person in custody has released to you, call the North Las Vegas Jail at (702) 633-1400 for instructions.
8. Is there a commissary?
The North Las Vegas Jail provides a commissary – a kind of in-house general store – where persons in custody may use the money on their books to buy paper, toiletries, chips, candy bars, and prepaid calling cards. Inmates may make purchases once a week, and their items are delivered the following day.
