Motorcyclist severely injured following car crash in northeast Las Vegas

Posted by Neil Shouse | Apr 04, 2018 | 0 Comments

Yesterday, a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle at Lamb Blvd. and the I-215 ended with the motorcyclist in critical condition. The motorcyclist, who is in his 30s, is currently at University Medical Center. Currently it not certain which driver was at fault, but it involved someone running a red light.

"In this case, the motorcyclist may be able to sue the other driver for negligence even if he was partly at fault," commented Las Vegas personal injury attorney Michael Becker about this case. "Under Nevada's comparative fault laws, a victim can recover damages as long as the victim was not more at fault than the perpetrator. Depending on the case, the victim may be able to recover hefty compensatory damages and possibly punitive damages."
