The Tonopah Jail has no website and doesn't provide inmate information online. Therefore, people who suspect their family member or friend may be incarcerated there need to call the jail at (775) 482-7358 and ask them to run a name search.

The Tonopah Jail is available to take bail twenty-four hours a day. The jail accepts bail made by bondsmen. Otherwise, people may post cash bail at 101 Radar Rd., Tonopah, NV 89049.

Visiting hours at Tonopah Jail depend upon the gender of the person in custody:

Visiting hours for male inmates are Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, visiting hours for female inmates are Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Visits are typically limited to a half hour each and are conducted through glass. Visitors do not have to call ahead; however, it's still recommended they call ahead anyway to ensure that visiting hours have not changed. The jail number is (775) 482-7358.

People in custody at Tonopah Jail usually use their inmate accounts to purchase toiletries, food and other stationary from the commissary.

Outside people should phone Tonopah Jail at (775) 482-7358 for instructions on how to retrieve an inmate's property such as their wallet and keys and anything else they were in possession of when they were arrested. Both parties need to fill out paperwork before the jail will release the property.
