Sandra Bonafont dies after SUV rear-ends her sedan in Las Vegas

On April 27, 56-year-old Sandra Bonafont was killed when a Chevy Trailblazer rear-ended her Toyota Camry on the I-95 near Ann Road. The Chevy driver was injured but will survive. The Nevada Highway Patrol does not believe the driver was impaired.

"It seems that Bonafont's family may have a wrongful death case against the Chevy driver," commented Las Vegas personal injury attorney Michael Becker. "In car accident cases, the victim's family bears the burden to show by a preponderance of the evidence that the defendant acted with negligence. If successful, the family can recover significant compensatory and punitive damages."
