Aliante casino robbery suspect arrested

Posted by Neil Shouse | Jan 26, 2018 | 0 Comments

Yesterday law enforcement apprehended a 39-year-old man alleged to have robbed a casino cage at Aliante casino in North Las Vegas. The suspect reportedly stole $7,400 in cash. The police claim they recovered the money from the suspect.

The robbery allegedly occurred at 4 p.m. yesterday. Hotel security worked with police to track down the suspect. It remains unclear whether the suspect was armed, but nobody sustained injuries from the incident.

"The penalties for robbery can be much greater if a deadly weapon was involved," explains Las Vegas Defense Group attorney Michael Becker. "Either way, it may be possible to get the charges reduced to a lesser felony or possibly a misdemeanor depending on the case. And if there is a question about the suspect's identity, it may be possible to get the case dismissed."
