Anyone arrested in Laughlin or Searchlight, Nevada, is booked at the Laughlin Jail. Also known as the Tucker Holding Facility, Laughlin Jail is a holding area for the Clark County Detention Center (CCDC). Within 48 hours of arrest, Tucker Holding Facility inmates are transported to the CCDC pending further proceedings.
The Laughlin Jail can be reached by phone at (702) 298-3460. It is located next to the Laughlin Courthouse at 101 Civic Drive, Laughlin, NV 89029.
The Tucker Holding Facility is smaller and less structured than full-service detention centers in Nevada. Inmates stay there for two to three days at most.
Inmates do not wear uniforms, receive mail, maintain inmate trust accounts (“books”), or get commissary (shopping) privileges. There are no healthcare workers on staff, so sick inmates are transported to the CCDC.
