Se habla español. Dalia Labrador devoted her time at Chicago-Kent College of Law to preparing for a career as a criminal defense attorney:
Ms. Labrador learned how prosecutors bring charges from her job at the Chicago Cook County State's Attorney's Office, which included time in both the Narcotics Unit and the First Municipal Branch. She learned how to craft defenses from her work at the Chicago-Kent Criminal Defense Clinic, where she did legal research in a diverse array of cases including racketeering, tax evasion, and homicide. And she learned how judges deliberate over cases from her externship with the Hon. Sidney Schenkier in the Northern District of Illinois.
Also during law school, Ms. Labrador participated in the trial team program and was published in the law school's Journal of International and Comparative Law. Prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Labrador earned a BS in Finance from the University of South Florida and an MBA from University of San Pablo CEU in Madrid, Spain. She is also licensed to practice law in Illinois.
