Norovirus outbreak at Westgate is under investigation

In the last week, several Westgate employees and guests have contracted norovirus (the stomach flu). The Southern Nevada Health District has opened an investigation into the matter. And Westgate is taking such measures as using disposable plastic glasses at bars and providing hand sanitizer stations throughout the premises.

"These norovirus victims may have a Nevada negligence cause of action against Westgate," commented Las Vegas personal injury attorney Michael Becker. "Victims may be able to recover compensatory damages to cover their hospital bills, pain and suffering, and lost income. And depending on the case, it may be possible to get punitive damages as well."
