Wednesday night, two drivers got into a road rage-induced fight at the intersection of Sahara Ave. and Fort Apache Rd. One of them allegedly fired a gun, which did not injure anyone. But the person who allegedly fired the gun sustained a stab wound and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers are in police custody.
"In most fights, there is the initial aggressor and the person acting in self-defense," explained Las Vegas criminal defense attorney Michael Becker. "As long as the person acting in self-defense reasonably believed he/she was facing immediate bodily harm and wielded proportionate physical force to deflect the aggression, then that person committed no crime. As an investigation ensues in this road rage case, it will become clear which one is entitled to be released and cleared of all charges."
