One person arrested after shooting at Children's Memorial Park in Las Vegas

Yesterday afternoon, one person was arrested for allegedly shooting a male and female at Children's Memorial Park near Tobler Elementary School. The shooting reportedly took place after a fight. None of the injuries are life-threatening.

"Perhaps the suspect was acting in self-defense," posited Las Vegas criminal defense attorney Michael Becker. "Or perhaps the incident was an unfortunate accident. Or possibly, the police arrested the wrong person. In any of these cases, the charges against the suspect may be reduced or even dismissed."

For more information, see the Las Vegas Review Journal article.
