75-year-old man arrested for DUI with death after Henderson collision

Posted by Neil Shouse | Aug 01, 2018 | 0 Comments

75-year-old Richard Evans was arrested for the Nevada crime of DUI causing death when on Monday he allegedly failed to yield right of way at a Henderson intersection and collided with a motorcyclist, Vincent Modesto Turturro. Turturro passed away at University Medical Center. This is the fifth traffic death that the Henderson Police have investigated in 2018.

"Depending on how the facts of the case bear out, the motorcyclist's family may be able to sue Mr. Evans for wrongful death," commented Las Vegas personal injury attorney Michael Becker. "If successful, the family may be able to receive compensatory damages to cover medical bills, funeral expenses, and loss of support."
