North Las Vegas is the fourth largest city in Nevada after Las Vegas, Henderson and Reno. According to statistics, its courts see thousands of cases each year for Nevada battery domestic violence and Nevada DUI. Arrests for assault, solicitation of prostitution and trespass in North Las Vegas's casinos are frequent as well.
If you're arrested within the incorporated city limits of North Las Vegas for a misdemeanor (such as Nevada battery domestic violence or Nevada DUI), North Las Vegas Municipal Court will hear the case. All other incidents, including felonies, are handled in North Las Vegas Justice Court. Some felony cases, however, may be transferred to Clark County District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada.
