Las Vegas Defense Group Paralegal
Jennifer Aleman
A former marine and certified paralegal, Jennifer Aleman is our newest addition to Las Vegas Defense Group. The same discipline and stamina she honed in the armed services she now lavishes on our office to ensure that our clients are receiving first class service.
“Being a marine is a good training ground for any profession, but especially for criminal defense law,” she explains. “It’s all about protecting people, and the best way to do that is by being confident, clear, organized, and prepared for anything.”
A Las Vegas native, Jennifer’s first job while attending Basic High School (“Home of the Wolves”) was as a Bail Agent assistant at All Star Bonding, Inc. She now uses this firsthand knowledge to handhold our clients through the often confusing Nevada bail system.
“It actually isn’t that complicated if you know what you’re doing. I’m happy to demystify that whole process to our clients so it’s as painless as possible.”
Following a three-year tenure in the U.S. Marines Corps in Okinawa, Japan, Jennifer worked one year at the Hidalgo County Veterans Service in Edinburg, Texas before returning to Las Vegas and commencing her current paralegal career.
“Lawyers are only as good as their support staff, so I strive every day to be my personal best so our clients get the best representation.”
Before joining Las Vegas Defense Group she worked five years at Christiansen Law Offices, during which time she also earned a UNLV certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She’s still keen on continuing her education and currently attends the College of Southern Nevada at night.
“The best way to learn is on the job, but I also like the classroom component. It makes me more well-rounded and a better paralegal.”
If things keep going like they’re going, this former marine is on track to be one of the best lawyers in Las Vegas.
