Goodsprings lies between Las Vegas and Primm on the I-15, rendering it a hotspot for Nevada speeding tickets and Goodsprings DUI arrests. As an unincorporated city, there's no municipal court. Its Justice Court is technically located in Jean, Nevada.

Goodsprings Justice Court hears all misdemeanor and felony cases originating in Goodsprings and Jean. But any felony cases that don't settle prior to the preliminary hearing stage in Nevada are "bound over" to the Clark County District Court in downtown Las Vegas.
