Las Vegas Criminal Defense Lawyer
Daniel T. Young
The newest addition to Las Vegas Defense Group, Daniel T. Young heard his calling to be a lawyer as early as his pre-college days when he worked as a runner for the Clark County Public Defender's Office:
"During that time I was able to meet lots of attorneys who taught me that all people deserve a second opportunity. It's my goal to see that their second opportunity is never denied by oppressive law enforcement or prosecution."
Daniel earned his J.D. from the prestigious Gonzaga University School of Law, where his internship at the "Low Income Taxpayer Clinic" allowed him to fight for his clients' rights before the IRS:
"At the Tax Clinic I helped people facing scary circumstances by showing empathy, encouragement and determination to achieve their desired results. I employ the same resolve with my current clients so that they don't feel the despair that usually accompanies dealing with law enforcement and prosecutors."
Prior to joining Las Vegas Defense Group, Daniel gained ample "ground-up" experience by being employed as everything from a runner at the Clark County District Attorney's Office and a student-admitted criminal defense intern, to being a contract attorney assisting on capital murder cases, and also as an associate attorney at various Washington State and Nevada law firms. A UNLV graduate as well, Daniel has called Las Vegas home since 1999.
