The hours of operation for Searchlight Township Justice Court office is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Criminal court is held every other Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., and Traffic Court is held every other Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Searchlight Township Justice Court hears all traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases that allegedly occurred in the town of Searchlight. However, felony cases may eventually be “bound over” to Clark County District Court in downtown Las Vegas, located at 200 Lewis Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89155. If you wish to pay a fine to Searchlight Township Justice Court through the U.S. Mail, send a cashier’s check or money order to Searchlight Township Justice Court, P.O. Box 815, Searchlight, NV 89046. Remember to write your case’s citation number somewhere on your payment.
You may also pay by Visa or Mastercard over the phone at (702) 297-1252 or in person. You may pay in cash only in person. You can never pay by personal check.
The bailiff will not permit you in the Searchlight Justice Court courtroom if you are scantily dressed or wearing clothing with profane language. You also may not use your cell phone during court, and you may be asked to take off your hat or sunglasses.
